Explore our platform, share your ideas, and be part of the change.  I'm well known for bringing ideas to council meetings, and sharing with our Mayor who is always willing to discuss ideas both online, and in person.  I believe Sandy Bowman will return as Mayor,  and I feel I have a good working relationship with him.  As a graduate from St. FXU in his hometown of Antigonish , Nova Scotia, I am well aware of the Antigonish Movement that brought the co op movement around the world, particularly here in Alberta.  I aim to put more business in the hands of co operative organizations by sharing in ownership and profits as employees.  Were run by beurocrats who take the life blood of community initiatives all too often for their own political gain, in my humble opinion.  If you will Google ArticPharm you'll see a business model I'd like to bring here to RMWB.  I have some adaptations to add which would make it a successful business venture for our population.

Join us today!   I've tried to join committees here for ten years.  I have not been accepted into any yet I have a political science degree and studied community development, and statistics.   If elected I will personally hold town hall meetings so that citizens get their ideas shared publicly.  I will use the town halls as a forum to bring complaints or ideas to council.   We need better access to the processes of local government, or what's the point of a municipal level of government if citizens aren't given REAL opportunities to participate ?

How can I get involved in community engagement programs?

You can get involved by attending town halls, participating in surveys, and joining community events.  I intend on pushing council to give a registered card to all citizens that will help keep track of charitable, or other good deeds, such as voting.  Points accumulated can be used for concert tickets, or MacIsland admission. 

What sustainable development projects are currently in progress?
We are currently working on projects such as green infrastructure improvements, waste reduction initiatives, and renewable energy programs.
